The City of Van Wert is situated in Northwestern Ohio, just thirty minutes east of Fort Wayne, Indiana and thirty minutes west of Lima, Ohio. While the city’s population is approximately 10,000 people, our proximity to these two cities provides a working population of nearly 500,000 people. Van Wert is home to a 1,600-acre JRS certified Mega Site. The site is adjacent to US Route 30 and is thirty minutes east ofInterstate 69 and thirty minutes west of Interstate 75. Additional property is available in the Vision Industrial Park, located near US Route 30.

 

Van Wert offers a great education system including Van Wert City Schools and Vantage Career Center. Vantage Career Center offers vocational training for juniors and seniors in high school and also offers job training for adults. Vantage has made a commitment to ensure their classes will help fit the need of industry in the area. Other community assets include the 1,200 seat state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center, a freestanding Civic Theater, YWCA, YMCA, the Wassenberg Art Center, the Brumback Library, and several City parks designed for all ages.
